My family is known for being the helper…not the one asking for help. That being said, we need our village now! My dad, Henry Ulrich, is pacemaker dependent. His pacemaker regulates his heart 100%. He had a procedure a couple of weeks ago to upgrade the pacemaker to a 3rd lead to assist with low heart rate and extreme fatigue. He contracted Klebsiella, which is a resistant infection, and he’s in serious condition. We are looking at having to travel to Denver to have the hardware removed, and he will have to have an external heart for an unknown period of time to keep him alive. My mom, Vicky, runs a daycare, so she is self-employed! This is going to create financial hardship, and we need to ensure they are covered for bills and travel so they don’t have to worry.
