Aid Heather's Parents Through Leukemia Struggle

My name is Heather Vande Kamp and I'm starting this gofundme on behalf of my parents.

My dad has been through hell and back in his 71 years of life and we were just thrown another curve ball on April 7th, 2025.

My dad was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia. Cancer of the blood and bone marrow.

My dad made the decision to not undergo chemo due to underlying health issues from his massive stroke almost 23 years ago.

As of today, May 27th, he has now started hospice. He is still doing good and has a positive mindset thru this all.

I'm starting this to help offset the medical bills that have started coming in. My dad is a veteran so he did most of his medical appointments thru the V.A. He is also on Medicare part a but that only covers hospitalizations. He has weekly blood draws that are costing out of pocket. It's adding up and I'm really wanting that to be the last of my parent's concerns as we go thru this chapter of life.
