Heather Wallace of Memphis, TN, respected school teacher and royalty of the Memphis music scene, has had an unexpected medical emergency that has landed her in the hospital. Surgery for a blood clot in her throat has alerted her doctors to her heart valve that's going bad. When she recovers enough from the throat surgery, they will be doing heart surgery to replace the valve.
