Aid Guy's Recovery: Surgery for a Young Dog

My name is Mary and this is my dog Guy. Guy was only 5 months old when he and his mom came to live with us on our property. He is now a little over 3 years old. His mother taught him the fundamentals, but as his shepherd, I trained him to develop a strong bond with his goats, pigs, and cows. He excels in his role, and I am continually impressed by this breed.

Unfortunately, in August 2024, we discovered a tumor on his lower jaw, causing him discomfort and loss of appetite. As an animal lover, I am committed to ensuring he receives the best possible care. We consulted with his veterinarian, who performed a biopsy and blood tests, and our next step was to seek the expertise of an oncologist. We were presented with two potential treatment options, with the most affordable being surgical removal of the tumor by an animal dental & oral surgeon. Although this procedure is costly, we are seeking to raise funds to cover the expenses associated with his surgery and subsequent care. He is still young and has a long life ahead of him. Any contribution, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated, as we aim to provide him with the best possible care, allowing him to continue doing what he loves.
