Greg Meier is a name synonymous with Sandy. For 62 years, he's been a cornerstone of our town, carrying on a family legacy that dates back to the 1870s. For two decades, he was a volunteer Firefighter/EMT, rushing to help us when we needed it most. He's also been a constant source of inspiration and guidance, mentoring countless young men and women through his church.

In 2017, Greg was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given 5-7 years. He's a fighter, and this September, he's defying the odds, hoping to start his 9th year. This illness forced him to retire from his 37-year career, and while Social Security Disability helps, it's not enough to cover his mounting costs.
