Aid Gloria's Mom's Move for Vital Medical Care

Go fund me to help my mom relocate near better medical facilities.

My name is Gloria. I was born and raised in Tanzania. From an early age my mom has always been a mother to those who had no one. Despite her very low income she has always supported me and lots of orphans who are in need. She has raised many orphans and put them all through school.

In 2022 my mom became very sick.

this led her to be hospitalized for almost a month and was on oxygen support. Due to the fact that the doctors were not sure of what was causing her sickness they tried different medications to help her. She became partially blind due to all of the medications she was given. Her blood sugar levels increased as well. She has never been the same. Her immune system has been severely compromised which causes her to be constantly ill.

Back story: In 2017 my brother was murdered. As a result, my mom became the parent to my brother’s children as well as the other orphans she has at home.

My mom, being sick and having to be a full time parent, has been weighed down also causing her health to deteriorate.

On Christmas Eve I received a text from my cousin, “Sis, call me please”.

I knew something was wrong, I called back immediately and found out my mom has been very sick for a week. In fear of asking for help she was hoping to be well and back to normal.

She ended up in the ER where they had to admit her. She has been in hospital ever since. The doctor advised that she will need full-time care and much more medical attention to survive.

Upon examination, they discovered she has fluid in her lungs and an enlarged heart due to stress and advised that she’ll need to relocate near better medical attention.

My husband and I and great friends have been helping mom financially. But right now the financial burden is too heavy.

My mom lives in a city called Shinyanga, Tanzania. Medical facilities are not very good there so I would like to relocate her to another city close by. Mwanza has much better health care and she’ll be near her sisters who will be helping a lot when needed. I need to relocate my mom and the orphans currently in her care.

I don’t usually share my story. I’m not one to seek sympathy. Everything my mom has ever done has always been from good heart and she has never looked for attention or being noticed. I’m asking for your support to help heal my mom and support her orphans. May God bless you.
