Mom needs a wheelchair, possible scooter in the future. I'm maintaining her bills this month but, since her insurance doesn't cover hispital vidits and she will not be geting a paycheck throughout this journey, I could sure use some help.

My mom needs a quadruple bypass in the near future. we are hoping to meet with the surgeon next week . All of these visits are not covered and she needs help with bills and meds in the meantime. if you have ever met my mom, you'd know she's worth saving.

2/18/25My name is April Benson. My mother, Ginger Hilton, has suffered a heart attack and needs a quadruple bypass. Unfortunately, she had the flu, so they sent her home with no oxygen, no inhaler... just a scroll of prescriptions to get her heart and lungs strong enough to withstand the surgery. Turns out, one of those prescriptions (Entresto $678) was actually causing her more coughing at a chronic level. She now has been told she can't drive, can't finish the school year out (she's a certified teacher who retired yet decided to go back after Dad died). Her policy does not cover office visits, in which there will be many. I have moved her in with me and Medicare is not doing anything for her. The last thing she needs is stress.

She has 3-4 clogs that are already 90% and 80% clogged. She is not getting the urgent care she needs. Even after her heart attack, they sent her home, said we gotta 'crack you open' (like it's nothing), and then said, 'see ya in 2-3 weeks.'

I gotta go back to work and need the support to help pay her bills and get her the accommodations she may need to stay with me after surgery. I am a teacher too and have already sacrificed 2 weeks to get her settled and take care of her bills, but I'm out of money and resources, as is she. Just send prayers.
