Blessings all !!!
My name is Jamirah and I created this campaign in honor of my cousin Gerrell Mosley, who has been diagnosed with Pulmonary Cardiac Sarcoidosis. Gerrell is a phenomenal God-fearing woman, mother, and has always worked hard to provide for her and her family. At multiple points she has even held down treeeee jobs, but as of lately overtime has been her wave. She’s been doing it on her own… and she is putting her pride before her own health. I refuse to let my cousin work herself to death !
I’ve witnessed first hand her enthusitic and loving approach she takes to her job duties, as I have worked beside her as a Teacher’s Assistant . She is special, love truly shines through her. Nonetheless … now is the time for her to reap what she has sewn.
Recently, I have been hired at her current job and I thought “I can’t wait to work with Gerrell again !!!” However, I now feel the complete opposite. I saw her yesterday, she pressed her way to church straight from a stint at the hospital. Pain was written all over her face and demeanor but she praised God through it all. Still, she’s being crazyyy , stressed by financial burden. She is fighting to return to work as if nothing happened , to a job that is extremely taxing to her body… when honestly , she still needs to be under hospital care. I just want to yell at her… “GO SIT DOWN GERRELL!!!”
She can’t heal if she doesn’t take the time to do so.
So … CAN Y’ALL SAY IT WITH ME??
”PLEASE, GO SIT DOWN GERRELL!!!”
With all of your help, I am hoping and praying to delay our work reunion , so that Gerrell may take the appropriate time , whatever that may be, to recover from this life-threatening illness.
Ironically enough, April is Sarcoidosis Awareness Month. With humility in our hearts we understand that the PEOPLE are the hands and feet of God. Even if financial giving is not possible, we welcome and appreciate all prayers and encouraging words. We’re heavy on the “PRAYER WORKS” over here!!!
Thank you for your time and God Bless !
Sincerely , a concerned cousin
