Hi, Geraldine Pomerantz here, an active member in the Pickleball community who recently fell while playing and encountered an impact fracture of my radius. Due to the severity, it required a plate and screws to promote proper alignment and the opportunity to play in the future.

Unfortunately, my medical bills are escalating, as I am out on disability for 8-12 weeks. My orthopedist has projected occupational therapy 2-3x/week throughout this duration. I am committed to getting through this rehabilitation process; however, I am concerned about the financial hardship I am encountering. It pains me to even create a request for assistance, but I can no longer allow my pride to interfere in finding my way out of a rather bleak situation.
