On behalf of the Salm Family and with a heavy heart,I wanted to share the sad news that George Salm passed away early this morning 6/21/25. After being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and being in the hospital for the last 4 weeks, he couldn’t beat the cancer despite all treatments given. Please come along side his family and continue to support them financially and emotionally with the next step of dealing with incurred medical and cremation expenses….

Janet will need to drive him back and forth to Sacramento up to 5-7 days a week depending on the final recommendation. The optimum goal would be for George to take chemo pills at home instead of driving back and forth to Sacramento for the daily intravenous chemo treatments. The chemo pills are very expensive, making it difficult to afford. Please pitch in what you can to help support him and his family in this time of need. We are praying for him to eventually go into remission if he gets the proper treatment that he requires to fight this. George works for The Senior Center in Rio Vista and will have to take a leave of absence to seek treatment.
