Hello, my name is Lola Schlarmann. Thursday afternoon my brother, Gavin Schlarmann, was involved in a motorcycle accident in which he sadly passed away. With medical bills, funeral expenses, and having 2 other kids in college we know that it is going to be a rough time. We know Gavin touched many lives through being in the HFD as well as being a full time member of Highland EMS. Gavin always had had a full heart for everything, preserved through the bad, took risks, worked hard, chased his dreams, and always caused a little bit of trouble. In this time of grief if I could give any advice I would tell everyone to live like Gavin. Anything big or small would help. With so much love, thank you all.
