My name is Fred Gause, Sr. Throughout my career, I always looked for ways to help others in need. Whether it was providing someone in need with a job so that they could earn income or providing food to the hungry, I always had a charitable heart to extend a helping hand to someone in need. Now that I am ill, I find that I am the one in need of a helping hand.

I started feeling ill in June of 2025. After several doctors' appointments and medical tests, I was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer in August 2025. As a result of this illness, I have been unable to work since June.

I was a self-employed entrepreneur for over 45 years working in the field of construction. I had no real intentions of stopping work because I love to build things, as well as staying busy. However, due to this illness, medications, medical appointments, radiation, chemotherapy, and other medical procedures, I am no longer able to work. As a result, this has caused a financial and emotional hardship for me and my family. That is why I decided to set up this GoFundMe campaign. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated.

Donations will be used to help cover my medical costs, travel expenses, and monthly bills. My family and I would like to express our gratitude towards all who donate, and it is with grateful hearts that we say, thank you.
