Aid for Zoe & Camron's Urgent Needs
Donation protected
These beautiful newlyweds were in a serious car accident less than 48 hours after their wedding. They are miraculously okay and will eventually recover, but everything, including the car, was either crushed or thrown in the accident (all of their wedding gifts, wedding dress, phones, etc.). We are starting this GoFundMe to help with not only their urgent needs (phones, car, eyeglasses, etc.) but also for upcoming expenses (loss of income during recovery, medical bills, etc.) and the wedding gifts that can be replaced. The happy couple are both college students with very little to begin with, so this is a devastating loss. Will you please pray for them and consider giving? Any amount is helpful and a blessing to them! Thank you!
Here is the mother of the bride’s post…
“We had the most beautiful two days celebrating the marriage of Zoe and Camron. The gorgeous culmination of months of planning was nothing compared to the glory of the UNPLANNED moments among friends and family. The innocent and pure love between these two is truly inspiring. I could not be more proud, more hopeful, more content…
And then…the call all parents dread. Less than 48 hours after their marriage, these two beautiful young people were in a serious car accident.
They will be okay and we are so thankful for that. As details emerge of what happened and what COULD have happened, we are only MORE grateful that their lives were spared. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
Zoe & Camron were in an accident on I-70. They are both seriously hurt but are going to be okay.
Highway patrol said our kids rolled a time and a half across the median and got hit by a westbound semi, which threw them back in the median. The semi careened over the embankment into the north right-of-way, which was a significant distance below the slab.
They were taken to the nearest small-town hospital.
Zoe has a concussion, pelvic fracture, and many bumps, bruises, and cuts.
Camron has a fracture in his lower vertebrae, two fractured neck vertebrae, and a serious concussion.
On the third night of their marriage, they are separated. Camron has been transferred to Denver. Zoe is still in Kansas.
We have talked to Zoe. It was good to hear her voice.
We desperately want to be there, but highway patrol told us not to come. The roads are treacherous.
It’s hard to believe. Less than 48 hours married and the “in sickness” part of their vows is put to the test.
Fewer than 12 hours ago, the broken windows of this crushed vehicle had “Just Married” written across them. The object on the ground in front of their vehicle is the cord of three strands Zoe & Cam braided during their unity ceremony. The cards and gifts so lovingly packed into the back are gone.
We prayed over them during their wedding that the hardships of life would not break them, little knowing how soon they would face those hardships.
Please join us in prayer for the recovery of these two young people. We love them both desperately. Please pray that this would only strengthen their faith in the Lord and their love for one another.
With everything in my broken mother’s heart, I thank you.”
