Help Us Lay Our Sweet Boy to Rest

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating loss of our beloved son, brother, and friend. Zakaryah, only 18 years old, was taken from us far too soon on the night of Saturday, July 19, 2025. He was robbed and shot at a bus station by three unknown suspects, and the investigation is still ongoing. Zakaryah was just weeks away from graduating high school. He was sweet, funny, and had the kindest heart. He lit up every room with his smile and always made people laugh. He was a big brother to three younger siblings who looked up to him, and a loving son to a mother who is completely heartbroken.

Our family is hurting beyond words. We never imagined having to plan a funeral for someone so young and full of life. We’re doing our best to stay strong, but we are struggling emotionally and financially during this incredibly difficult time.
