Hello friends, family and compassionate strangers,

For those of you who don't know what's going on my dad and best friend, West, has gotten really sick and is currently on ventilation support at St Joseph hospital, ICU wing. He is in a medical induced coma with secondary infections such as ARDS, SIRS, pneumonia and MRSA. This has turned very scary. Your thoughts and prayers for my dad, his wife, myself and our family are very appreciated and needed right now. He is so special to so many people. He is the best grandfather and is needed so badly by our family. He is our rock.

This is an uncertain time for him and his loved ones, and he is facing both an uncertain, challenging medical journey and financial strain. As you guys know he is a local fishermen and is completely missing crab season right now which is how he affords expenses. We are expecting to be transferred out of the area for a very long recovery and are asking for any aid to help with the cost of travel and lodging. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in easing the stress during this incredibly tough time.
