Aid for Vincent & Bo's Post-Fire Recovery

My name is Vincent, and my partner is Bo.

Last night, our house caught fire from some kind of electrical issue. It happened so fast. We were just laying in bed playing video games with friends, and in less than five minutes the house was engulfed in flames. We got our pet rats out safely but our cats are missing.

We are so lucky to be alive. We are also so so lucky that our neighbors are working so hard to find our cats.

But our home is decimated. We were in pajamas when it happened, and the house is marked unsafe to enter. So we have no clothes, no belongings, nothing. Its completely destroyed. I managed to get a few things this morning, like my wallet and my very melted Switch. But we have nothing but my car and our pet rats.

I am so lucky to have gotten a few hundred dollars from the red cross today, so we can use that for shoes, clothing, and food. I’m disabled and not working, so I don’t have any income. My partner has a job, but the town we live in is so remote, he can’t make the commute to work while we’re staying with friends.

The money we’ve been blessed with by the red cross will help us get through the next few days, but we have bills coming up soon. So if anyone has the means to help, I would be so grateful.
