Hi, my name is Sean (Hassan) from Warren Michigan and I'm fundraising for Umm Mohammad, a Muslim widow and mother of 4 who lives Dearborn. My brother and I met Umm Mohammad after Jumah prayer in Hamtramick. The goal is to help her with basic support until she gains the ability to support herself and her children. Money will go towards rent, food, bills, and clothing.

Her Story

Umm Mohammad was widowed when her first husband was martyred, leaving her in a perilous situation. She remarried had children and her husband was abusive and divorced her. She is without any family in the United States and she is left without a father or mother/family support network to care for her. She puts her trust in Allah and relys upon him.

Currently, Umm Mohammad is struggling financially with her four children. She is facing financial distress, she occasionally racks up debts and no stable source of income. Despite working odd jobs, such as cleaning coffee shops, she is unable to meet basic needs like rent, food, and utilities. The goal is to fund the basic needs of Umm Mohammad and her children month by month until she can find a stable source of income.

The Urgent Need

At present, Umm Mohammad is constantly on the brink of eviction each and every month due to her inability to pay rent which is $1,350 per month. To prevent her and her children from being homeless, I am seeking to raise funds for her immediate needs for the foreseeable future. Likewise her electricity is at constant threat of being shut off.
