Aid for Ukrainian SMS families

The global Smith-Magenis Syndrome (SMS) network is currently aware of six families in Ukraine who desperately need help. The consequences of war are devastating and create an even greater strain on families caring for their loved ones with SMS. Smith-Magenis Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder causing intellectual disability and behavioral issues. Children with this syndrome need 24/7 care: this is now harder than ever to provide during this current tragedy.
