Aid for Tobi's Medical Bills and Recovery

Dear fellow humans,

Last night, one of my best friends experienced a tragedy none of us should ever experience. Her puppies were attacked by another dog while she was taking them out to go potty before bed. The other dog was a neighbor's dog that had gotten out and was roaming the street. Both of her puppies were leashed when this happened as she tried to save them both. Chispa (the black and white puppy) was about to be 6 months old (June 29th) and unfortunately did not survive the attack. His brother Tobi did survive with lots of injuries. Pictures of the less graphic ones are included. My friend has 5 kids who are all devastated by the loss of their fur brother the younger ones don’t even grasp what has happened, everyone is trying to stay strong for Tobi in hopes he will recover. As of right now, he will not eat, walk, or even move. He just lays under a blanket, traumatized and injured, surrounded by love and tragedy at the same time. Anyone who owns dogs understands the cost of regular vet bills and can only imagine what their bills are in an emergency. The owner of the dog that attacked the puppies refuses to help pay for any of the bills. As of right now, they are well over $4000. She has 5 kids, and I am just hoping we can help them alleviate some of the stress of this situation by raising some funds to cover the medical costs for Chispa and the ongoing medical care and cost of medication for Tobi. If he hasn’t improved and is still not eating by tomorrow (23rd of June), he will have to go back to the vet for further monitoring and treatment.
