Hello everyone, My name is Pharoah. You don't know me or my fiance, Tiffany Khamisa. But as of 5 am, May 31st, 2025, we got hit with a devastating blow. Tiffany, who is also a type 2 diabetic, stated that she wasn't feeling so well. Her speech was slurred, and she couldn't keep her balance. I called 911 for an ambulance immediately. Unfortunately, she was rushed to Carbondale Hospital because she suffered a stroke this morning. After CT scans, the doctors decided she needed to be airlifted to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, where they had to perform an emergency procedure to unblock a blood vessel. She is currently in ICU. I'm praying for a speedy recovery, but there is a long road ahead of us. Medicaid only covers so much. She won't be able to work and will need to be transferred to a stroke rehabilitation center after she's released. I really don't have the words to explain the heartache I'm experiencing right now. Tiffany is a beautiful soul with a heart of gold who worked for Neuro Restorative, caring for children with traumatic brain injuries, autism, behavioral disorders, etc. Now she's in need! So I'm reaching out for any help we can get during this unfortunate time. I know everyone is going through something in life, so if you can find it in your heart to say a prayer and/or make a donation to assist with the bills, rehabilitation, and travel expenses to and from the hospital (2 hours away), it would be greatly appreciated.
