Hello Everyone!

I'm making this GoFundMe for help and assistance for my significant other and family. Three months ago, Thomas experienced his first seizure while at work, which came with stitches to the ear and questions on if it was just a fainting spell or exhaustion. Two months after that, he had his second seizure, again while at work. Friends who helped swore they saw him seizing, but yet again, doctors said they didn't think it was seizures and probably heart issues. Medical bills are starting to rack up by now between ambulance rides and doing echoes and Holter tests. But a month later, while at home, I witnessed him having a seizure in front of the children. It happened so fast, and he was soon admitted into Mayo. Though we haven't gotten all the answers, we now know he is definitely having them. Myotonic seizures are the ones he's believed to be having. Because of this, he is not able to work, drive, cook, or do any heavy lifting for 6 months!!! I have to do all of it for him and for the children if they need to be anywhere. So, my workload has tripled. Yes, he's filing FMLA and Short Term Disability, which will turn into Long Term Disability, but we are having issues between his company he works for and the doctors at Mayo getting paperwork done. But since it has now been practically three and a half months of no work due to the seizures and hospital trips, workman's comp refuses to help because they said it was not work-related but health-related injuries and was denied a check. We are so beyond behind and now risking eviction and repossession of the only transportation we have to get the kids to and from school and me to work since I am the only one working. This is something we must work through, and we will get through it; we just need a little help and a boost to make it through. I appreciate all of you who help and/or share!!
