Aid for the Zarate Family
Donation protected
On Monday, October 9th, my brother, Rudy, and his family-- my sister-in-law, Angi, my 12-year-old niece, Isabella, and my 9-year-old nephew, Dominic-- were evacuated from their home in Santa Rosa, CA very early in the morning. Overnight, the Tubbs Fire in Sonoma County had grown from 200 acres to 20,000 acres. The fire was not contained and hurricane-force winds were causing it to quickly spread.
My brother and his family only had time to grab their laptops and dog, and left with nothing else but the clothes on their backs.
The photo shown here is what is left of their home. Needless to say, nothing remains.
Anything that we can give Rudy, Angi, Isabella, and Dominic to help them get them back on their feet and rebuild their lives would be much appreciated. Funds will be used toward clothing, shoes, school supplies, personal items, and items to begin to start their new home. Angi is a named beneficiary for this campaign and the money will go directly to her, and she will be able to see the kind words of support everyone is leaving.
Thank you!!!
