Aid for the Wickey family

On April 3, 2025, a heartbreaking tragedy struck our community. Shawn (12) and Josiah (8), the beloved sons of Nathan and Loretta Wickey, were on their way to school when they were rear-ended by a vehicle on Route 127. Tragically, Shawn succumbed to his injuries late yesterday afternoon, while Josiah remains in critical care in St. Louis.

This devastating loss has left the Wickey family not only in deep grief but also facing overwhelming medical expenses. To make matters even more difficult, the driver responsible for the accident was uninsured. The Amish do not carry traditional health insurance, making financial assistance crucial during this difficult time.
