My family is facing the unimaginable after a devastating five-car crash in Savannah, Georgia. My mother, Crystal Thomas, and my grandmother, Brenda Self, are currently in the burn unit in Augusta fighting to recover. My sister, Aly, only 25 years old, tragically lost her life in the accident. We live in Dalton, Georgia, and overnight my family was thrown into a situation none of us were prepared for. I'm now responsible for helping arrange Aly's funeral, traveling back and forth to Augusta to be with my mom and grandmother, and doing everything I can to hold my family together. My truck is currently out of service, and my youngest sister, Dayla, only has an unreliable car, making travel even more difficult.
