Aid for the Segarra's

Donation protected
On Friday, October 21st, the Segarra's faced one of the most feared situations a family can encounter. As smoke billowed through their apartment, they quickly realized there was a fire. The smoke alarms whaling, kids quickly awakened, they concluded they needed to get out and quickly. As Daniel and family attempted to flee the apartment from his typical staircase, he was met with a pool of fire that was reaching to the top of his front door. Swiftly, the Segarra’s realized they needed another exit, they then made their way to the kitchen window where they stood on a roofed edge. Belting out cries for help, good Samaritans rushed to aid in locating fire extinguishers and calling for emergency services.

Met by paramedics and aid, thankfully because of quick decision making all of the Segarra’s made it away unharmed. Unfortunately, they are met with the struggle of losing virtually everything. These are great people, great parents who are having to start over again. I am never one to ask for help or aid, but in this case I ask that you do what you can to help them get back track. I'm not sure what their "goal" is, but figured this could help. They are staying with me and my family for the foreseeable future as they begin to rebuild their lives around this devastating situation. I thank you for their continued support and appreciate you taking the time to read their story.
