Jeff and Cindy Barrett of Saginaw, Michigan, and their two young sons Sam (10) and Tony (9) are facing mounting bills and potential foreclosure.

In February 2026 Cindy suffered a back and neck injury requiring surgeries on her cervical spine. After several delays she had her final operation in May and began physical therapy immediately after. She is improving greatly but will be unable to return to work for several months.

The family is fortunate enough that insurance covered the surgery and My Michigan Health has already provided assistance with the remaining balance, due to rising costs they are unable to live off Jeff's income alone for an extended time. Help is desperately needed to remain housed until that time.
