My sister and brother in law, Katherine and Eric Farmer, live in Warrensville NC. They lost their home and all contents in the flooding from Hurricane Helene. They have no insurance and they only escaped with a photo album and 2 of their 3 family pets. They are working through their initial shock, and making plans for rebuilding.

They plan to rebuild across the street and away from the river. They need funds to clear a driveway, install a septic and well and clear the lot. They have a difficult road ahead.

Our hearts are heavy. Please pray for them and consider helping financially. Also, please share this request with your friends.

FEMA has allotted only a fraction of the worth of our home. We cannot rebuild with that amount.

We are staying in a hotel room. There are few rentals in the area and many displaced people. We are thankful to have a roof over our heads, but we look forward to moving on with our lives.
