Support Taty & Tahra after Luiz's Untimely Passing

Taty and Tahra are in need of our support at this time.

 On May 15th, Taty’s husband and love of 40 years, (they were teenager sweethearts) Luiz passed away suddenly. The loss of Luiz leaves Taty and their 12 year old daughter, Tahra, grieving and in financial uncertainty with no family around. On Thursday, Luiz called 911, then collapsed, and was transferred to the hospital, where he passed away, leaving a gaping hole in the lives of his family and community.

Taty is now the single mother of Tahra, a brilliant, gentle and kind, child who loves cheese and dragons. Taty, a beacon in every community she is a part of, is also now the sole breadwinner, in a, formerly, two income household, expected to pay double as many bills with one income.

She will need help to pay for the ambulance and medical bills, Luiz's memorial service, and his half of the usual monthly costs of living for the foreseeable future as she assesses what life will look like without the support of her partner and love, Luiz.
