Aid for Stu's Prosthetic and Medical Expenses

Hi! My name is Paige Hysong, I first want to say on behalf of all of our family, thank you for taking time out of your day to read this. This GoFundMe is on behalf of my brother-in-law, Stu Garbutt-Benson. Stu is such a giving person and always knows how to put a smile on someone's face and I'm really hoping this will help relieve some stress from their shoulders.

Recently, Stu's leg became injured, the pin doctors had put into his leg bone had broken which was causing him pain and he was limping. On November 15th Stu went to IMH and doctors said infection was rampaging through his leg, infecting muscles, tissue, etc. and worst of all the bones in the lower-half of his right leg. Doctors put Stu on antibiotics which were helping the muscles, tissues, and other infected parts, but sadly weren't enough to take the infection away from the bone. On the morning of November 16th, doctors took Stu into surgery, because of how bad the infection was in the bone, doctors had to amputate Stu's leg from the knee down. Being he wasn't eligible for insurance yet all of the costs are on his shoulders, any support we can raise for he and his family will be greatly appreciated.
