My name is Taylor, I live in Winston-Salem, NC, and I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend and sister, Stacy and her 4 daughters. They live in the Asheville area, and since Hurricane Helene, they have been without fresh water, running water, and electricity.

I have been in contact with Stacy, but it’s sporadic. I have received permission to fundraise on her behalf. Our goal for this fundraiser is to help pay bills and basic necessities until the necessary infrastructure and markets are restored and Stacy is able to resume making her products. Temporary relocation may also be on the table.

For those of you who don’t know, Stacy is the founder and owner of Wadadli Dessert Oasis. She offers plant-based tropical tastes through the creation of authentic patties, sea moss, fresh drinks, baked goods, and more at local farmers markets.

She has 4 beautiful girls and herself that she needs to care for, and who knows when the farmers markets will be up and running again? Many towns surrounding Asheville are underwater; roads and even major highways have been washed away or damaged.
