Sri Lanka crisis: Daily heartbreak of life in a country gone bankrupt - BBC

 

Sri Lanka has been enduring the worst economic and humanitarian crisis since the island nation gained independence in 1948. Sri Lankan families cannot afford the bare essentials, with food, medicines and fuel running scarce.

 

This fundraiser is a personal, collective effort of the Sri Lankan Community at Ernst & Young UK. The funds collected will go towards Greater Giving Sri Lanka, and Kandy Global Shapers , local organisations providing dry ration packs and essential items to vulnerable communities in the country.
