When it rains, it pours - and we have multiple medical/rescue needs at the moment
The first need is our old foster Spot’s (now Ozzy’s) heart-worm treatment. His family adopted him when he was heart worm positive, completely willing to see him through treatment. The cost is steep though! About $1,700 for the entire thing.
Our foster Hugo is finally headed home! He’s been with over for OVER A YEAR . His perfect home is ready for him, but they’re in New Brunswick, Canada. He’s currently in Savannah, GA. His new family and I have been planning his trip for months. And it’s finally possible! But our wonderful transporters will need dog friendly accommodations for the overnight stays they have to take on their very long trip. They also need gas money (which is extra expensive now ).
The third need is a dog that we helped more behind the scenes, her name is Mabel. We fostered both of her sons - Charlie and Norbit. The entire family has been adopted, but Mabel is going through her own heart worm treatment this week with her adopter. Which costs $1600.
