Aid for Sarah's Homelessness Crisis

Hi I'm Victoria, Sarah's neighbor and friend at Brookside 112 where she and I lived until she was displaced by our building management and recently homeless. I'm helping her out of what is a tough situation- they won't allow her to get her things out of the unit as she was subleasing from a trusted friend who was in the process of being evicted. As of right now, she's homeless with her dog Buttercup camping near the apartments, has lost access to her phone, clean clothes, shoes, family heirloom's, and has lost everything she owns. She's being helped by a couple friends in the neighborhood but isn't allowed back on the property, though she paid rent through the end of the month. Her car had recently been towed, she doesn't have ID or a wallet or a computer. Because she uses a computer for work, and doesn't have access to one or regular power for charging devices, she is at the mercy of help from friends or public services.

We are helping her by trying to raise funds for Sarah to get a new apartment and a computer so she can search for work and freelance in the meantime. Any donations are much appreciated! Sarah has helped us by watching our kids and dogs when we were in a bind and we want to return the favor.

We've seen her roommates take previous tenants things like her computer, and would like to see her back in permanent housing and working again. She's very much looking forward to getting back to work.

Update: She's currently working with a caseworker for the council for the homeless, sober, and wait listed for temporary housing. In the meantime, she desperately needs our help!
