Hi, we are Savannah and Sophia, Scarlett Olivares’ sisters. We are sharing this on her behalf after she experienced the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her dog, Tallulah.

Scarlett is a Texas A&M student just entering her senior year, and Tallulah was her constant companion through school, work, and everyday life. Just after the holidays, Tallulah began to feel unwell. She stopped eating and drinking, and Scarlett immediately took her to the vet, doing everything she could to find answers. When Tallulah’s condition didn’t improve, Scarlett rushed her to a second veterinarian, hoping there was still something that could be done.

At the second vet, Scarlett learned that Tallulah was suffering from kidney failure, and tragically, it was already too late to save her. On January 10, 2026, Tallulah was laid to rest while lying in Scarlett’s arms. Tallulah was only 6 years old.

As a young college student who works on campus, Scarlett’s financial resources were limited. In her attempt to save Tallulah, she exhausted her funds and opened credit lines to cover emergency veterinary care. She is now left with significant vet bills in addition to the cost of laying Tallulah to rest with dignity.

We are asking for help to raise $2,150 to support Scarlett with:

Emergency veterinary bills from multiple visits

End-of-life and memorial expenses for Tallulah

Relieving the financial burden placed on her as a full-time student
