A member of our school family has suffered a tragic and unexpected loss for their family. Sarah Miller, a cherished teacher of over eight years at Bright Haven, lost her husband, Ryan Miller, on May 19, 2025. Together they have three children. Their youngest son, Ollie, is also a member of our school family. Ryan helped his father run their repair and remodeling business, often taking on most of the physical labor. Sarah depended on Ryan for transportation to work and for back-up care for the children. The impact from grief will be tremendous and their ability to monetarily provide has taken a huge hit.
While the family is grieving, they need not worry about how their bills will be paid or the cost of laying his body to rest. While we may not be able to carry any of their pain, we can help alleviate the financial pressures this family will be facing in the months to come. There is no amount too small. It is in times of sorrow that we are all reminded of the importance of community and family. Let's gather around this family and show them they are loved and cared for with not only words, but actions.
All money will go directly to the family to help cover daily expenses, as well as expenses related to Ryan's final arrangements.
