We are a military family. As many know, we were sent to San Diego for baby Eden to have surgery. With limited time to leave Japan, we had to leave our dog Rivie behind until we can get back to PCS (Permanent Change of Station). We hoped to have Daniel go back to get her before it gets too hot to fly Rivie since she will be flying cargo, but due to Eden’s recovery, we do not know when he will be able to go back.

We were super fortunate to have friends willing to watch her on such short notice, but now they are also in the process of leaving Japan. With that said, we would like to get her home as soon as possible rather than boarding her. Due to our unexpected situation, we were not prepared for the cost of pet shipping. Although we do not expect any help, we would really appreciate anything and everything we can get to put towards her shipping cost.
