My childhood best friend, Lisa Riddle, lived just four houses down from me on Mendocino Lane in beautiful Altadena, CA. Her family was my family, and her parents helped raise me. The recent Eaton fire destroyed her parents' home of 52 years, the house I grew up in, and her sister’s home down the street. They had to flee immediately due to 70 mph winds and weren’t able to take much with them. They lost their home, belongings, family treasures, cars, and a beautiful community. I’m completely devastated for them and want to do anything I can to help them. I’ve never done this before, but I’m reaching out to ask if my dear friends in San Diego and afar, would please donate any amount of money, no matter how small, to help them. They can use the money to pay for lodging costs, food, clothing, immediate essentials, and other needs.
