Hi, my name is Ray, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my wife, Abby.

Over the past couple of years, I’ve watched Abby’s health change in ways we never could have imagined. She is currently battling multiple serious conditions, including congestive heart failure (CHF) and pulmonary hypertension, both of which affect her ability to breathe, maintain energy, and function day to day.

She also has a history of pulmonary embolism, which required ongoing treatment and continues to be a concern. In addition, she is dealing with a painful Baker’s cyst behind her left knee, causing swelling and difficulty walking—at times requiring the use of a cane.

On top of that, Abby is experiencing ongoing neurological symptoms, including tremors, a shaking voice, dizziness, brain fog, and extreme fatigue. A recently discovered brain lesion is still being evaluated, adding even more uncertainty to an already overwhelming situation.

Every day is different. Some days she can push through a few hours, and other days even simple tasks feel impossible. Sleep is limited, pain is constant, and the physical and emotional toll continues to grow.

Despite everything, Abby has tried to keep working and maintain some sense of normalcy. But her health has reached a point where consistent full-time work is no longer sustainable.

With multiple specialists, ongoing testing, medications, and treatments, the financial burden has become overwhelming. We are in the process of applying for disability benefits, but as many know, that process takes time—and in the meantime, the bills continue to pile up.

I’m asking for help on Abby’s behalf because she would never ask for it herself. Any support will go toward:

• Medical expenses and treatments

• Prescription medications

• Transportation to appointments

• Basic living expenses during this time
