On February 23rd, 2025, I received a phone call from my mom that would change her world forever. Her husband collapsed, and she was performing CPR on him.

Despite all the efforts done by the local EMTs, nurses, doctors, and other medical staff, my stepdad, Ray, decided it was his time to leave this Earth.

If you knew Ray, as most people did, you know that Ray was an incredible person. He was an amazing husband, the most loving grandpa, as well as a dad, son, uncle, and friend to so many. He loved everyone as much as everyone loved him. Ray was one of the most hardworking people I know, sometimes working 2-3 jobs on top of spending his summer days playing softball and hanging with his grandbabies. He loved my mom so much.

Due to the sudden shock of this, and despite my mom’s stubbornness, I’m trying to help alleviate some financial burdens that this tragic event will cause her. Between the work she is missing, medical bills, and all the other expenses to come at her due to Ray’s death, every donation is so appreciated. Your generosity is seen and will help my mom in this time of healing and trying to deal with this extremely rough time for her.
