On Wednesday, March 19th, Ray was in a severe e-bike accident and suffered traumatic brain injuries. He immediately underwent brain surgery and was in a medically induced coma for 3 weeks to reduce intracranial pressure and swelling. While the swelling has gone down, he remains in a coma without sedation and has been battling pneumonia, high fevers, and strokes since.

He is currently at the HopeWest Hospice Center in Grand Junction, CO.

His wife Abbie and two children, Amelia and Ben, are utterly devastated and going through extremely difficult times.
