It is with great sadness that we are finding ourselves sharing the news of the passing of our dad, Rafael, or how some people know him, Toño. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting him, then you know what an amazing man he was. He was very loving, sweet, and kind. Not only was he a great man, but he was an amazing dad. The relationship he had with each one of his kids was very special. He loved us so much, and he made it known by how he treated us. He was also a tremendous grandpa. He loved his grandchildren so much, and they were the light of his life.

Hearing and seeing stories from his friends and family has shown us the impact that he had on other people. He would never hesitate to help anyone that asked for his assistance. We are truly proud of the legacy he has left.

Dad suffered a life-changing heart attack on June 1st, 2024, that left him with many difficulties. God blessed him with a chance to share some time with us, and he blessed us with 10 more months with him. Some days were easier than others, but he fought to the very end. Unfortunately, he lost his battle on April 14, 2025. Even though this loss has been very difficult, we find peace and comfort that he is no longer suffering and is resting with the Lord.

Dad is survived by his wife, Silvia, his children, Karina, Rafael Jr., & Edwin, his grandchildren, and many extended family members that loved him so much.

We are asking for any help you can provide to help ease the funeral arrangements to give him a proper send-off, to celebrate his life, and the amazing person that he was. In addition, we would like to ask for your prayers for his soul, and for the family.

Con gran tristeza nos encontramos compartiendo la noticia del fallecimiento de nuestro papá, Rafael, o como algunos lo conocen, Toño. Si alguna vez tuviste el placer de conocerlo, entonces sabes lo increíble que era. Era muy cariñoso, dulce y amable. No sólo era un gran hombre, sino un padre increíble. La relación que tenía con cada uno de sus hijos era muy especial. Nos quería mucho y lo demostraba con el trato que nos daba. También era un abuelo estupendo. Quería mucho a sus nietos, que eran la luz de su vida.

Oír y ver historias de sus amigos y familiares nos ha mostrado el impacto que tuvo en otras personas. Nunca dudaba en ayudar a cualquiera que le pidiera ayuda. Estamos muy orgullosos del legado que ha dejado.

Papá sufrió un ataque al corazón que le cambió la vida el 1 de junio de 2024, que le dejó con muchas dificultades. Dios lo bendijo con la oportunidad de compartir algún tiempo con nosotros, y nos bendijo con 10 meses más con él. Algunos días fueron más fáciles que otros, pero luchó hasta el final. Lamentablemente, perdió la batalla el 14 de abril de 2025. Aunque esta pérdida ha sido muy difícil, encontramos paz y consuelo de que ya no está sufriendo y está descansando con el Señor.

Les pedimos toda la ayuda que puedan prestarnos para facilitar los preparativos del funeral y darle una despedida digna, para celebrar su vida y la increíble persona que era. Además, nos gustaría pedir sus oraciones por su alma y por la familia.
