Hi, my name is Kelia Thompson, and I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart.

My horse Phoenix is not just an animal – she’s my partner, my heart, and my first-ever barrel racing horse. We began this journey together, step by step, learning and growing into a powerful team. Phoenix and I didn’t just ride – we became one. She gave me her trust, her strength, and her spirit. And now she needs me more than ever.

Phoenix has suffered a devastating injury – her tongue split in half.

It’s painful, serious, and requires emergency surgery to repair. Without it, her ability to eat, drink, and live comfortably is at risk.

The surgery costs are overwhelming, and as much as it hurts to ask, I can't do this alone. I’m turning to my community – to animal lovers, riders, friends, and kind strangers – to help give Phoenix a second chance.
