Please help Tedra and Scott Phegley with medical expenses.

On December 12, 2024 Scott experienced a seizure while at work. He was taken to the ER where they found a brain bleed and was then transported to KU Medical Center.

He was found to have an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM), at which point a drain was put in to remove the excess fluid from his brain.

It was then discovered that he had a small aneurysm, which they were able to successfully glue without further procedures necessary.

Scott spent 3 weeks in the Neuro ICU before being moved to a regular hospital room where he spent another 3 weeks, and then proceeded to 4 weeks in inpatient rehab.

Scott is currently home and going to an outpatient rehab day program 5 days per week.

He will have an MRA (scan to see blood vessels in the brain) followed by radiation to close a small opening in his blood vessels.

He is not able to work and unsure when he will be able to return to work or even drive.

This leaves them as a one income family. Tedra continues to work when she can, with a reduction in her hours due to caring for Scott when he is not in his outpatient rehab day program and taking him to multiple doctor's appointments. Their medical bills are mounting, as well as their normal financial responsibilities.

Any help would be greatly appreciated to help get them through this difficult and life-changing event.
