Aid for People in Aït Saïd Adouz and Adassil
Donation protected
Our friends have been affected by the devastating earthquake that hit the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Houses have been turned into piles of rubble, lives have been lost, mass graves have been dug. We would like to raise money to help get the villagers get back on track. Lots of them lost their animals, their bread ovens, their stables, in these remote villages this means not only their homes are gone but so are their livelihoods. The money raised will go towards rebuilding these livelihoods. Over the years Moroccans have proved to be kind, caring, open and giving to us, now it is our turn to show that we care. So please donate as much as you can, no matter how little it is.
A little more info: We are a Scottish-Danish-Moroccan family who visit Morocco several times a year. One of our close friends family has been affected by the earthquake: his stables collapsed killing all of his cattle which is essentially his livelihood. In December we will fly over to Morocco with the funds and buy materials/livestock firstly for our friends family and then hopefully for others in the village by buying animals/materials to help them rebuild what they have lost, if enough is raised.
