Dear friends,

This donation page has been created to support our dear brother Yongseok Park and his family. He recently collapsed due to a sudden aortic rupture and had to undergo emergency surgery. He is currently still in the ICU, fighting to recover.

On March 15, shortly after his surgery, Yongseok was let go from the job he had faithfully held for over 20 years, effective at the end of March. His wife, Jihee, has been out of work since September 2023. They have two children, Jungwon (14) and Sohee (13), and with no income or health insurance, they are now facing the possibility of losing their home on top of mounting medical bills, the total of which is still unknown.

Yongseok’s condition is very serious. The rupture in his heart artery disrupted blood flow to his brain, leaving the right side of his upper body paralyzed. While he can recognize people, he is currently unable to speak, read, or write. Even with continued rehabilitation, it’s unclear how long it will take for him to recover.

In this incredibly difficult and uncertain time, we are asking for your heartfelt prayers and any support you can give. Your generosity—no matter how big or small—can make a meaningful difference in helping this family hold on to hope.

이 도네이션은 최근 심장 동맥 파열로 인해 갑자기 쓰러지셔서 수술을 받으셨지만 아직 중환자실에서 회복을 하고계시는 박용석 형제님과 그 가족들을 돕고자 개설된 링크입니다.

박용석 형제님께서 3월 15일 수술후에 20년 넘게 다니시던 직장에서 3월 말로 해고 통지를 받으셨고, 배우자인 지희자매님께선 2023년 9월부터 일을 하고 계시지 않으셨습니다. 아이들도 정원이와 (14살) 소희가 (13살) 있는데 현재 수입과 보험이 없어 있는 집에서 나가야 하는 상황인데다가 의료비도 얼마가 청구되어 나올지 모르는 경제적으로 막막하고 어려운 상황입니다.

용석형제님의 건강상태는 사고당시 심장에 있는 동맥이 파열되어 뇌로 이어지는 혈관에 피가 공급이 안되어 상반신 오른쪽에 마비가 되었고 그로인해 사람은 알아보지만 읽고, 쓰고, 말하는게 불가능한 상태입니다. 계속해서 재활치료를 받아도 회복이 다 되는데는 얼마가 걸릴지 알수없습니다.

이렇게 어렵고 힘든시기에 많은분들의 기도와 도네이션이 작게나마 힘을 보태서 도울수 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 도움주셔서 정말 감사합니다.
