Aid for Pablo and Joselyn's Grieving Hearts

Our hearts are shattered by the tragic loss of Jean Paul. To me, he was more than a friend’s son—a nephew. We watched him grow up in the barbershop, always full of light, laughter, and potential. He had just begun his journey as a barber, a writer, and a singer. His future was bright, and his spirit was beautiful.

This pain cuts even deeper knowing that Pablo and Joselyn have now endured the unimaginable loss of both their sons—first Sean, and now Jean Paul. No words can truly express the depth of sorrow they are carrying. They were still mourning, still trying to heal from the first loss, when tragedy struck again.

In the face of this heartbreak, we must also shine a light on suicide awareness. Mental health matters. Our community must continue having open, honest conversations and offer love without judgment—because sometimes the ones who seem strong are fighting battles we can’t see.
