Hi, my name is Nina. I never thought I’d be doing this, but I’m in such a financial crisis I don’t know what else to do.

You see, about 8 years ago, I was in a tragic accident. I lost control of my car on the ice, spun out, and hit a telephone pole. Somehow, my arm got caught in the car door, and they had to use the jaws of life to get me out of the car. I got to the hospital, and they rushed me to surgery. You see, my arm was almost totally severed. I had about 23 surgeries and spent 9 months in the hospital and 11 more months in a rehab facility.

I currently cannot work. I would’ve loved to have planned to open up my daycare center again, but due to the fact that I can’t use my arm more than 30%. I can’t hold a baby or change your diaper so that is kind of a moot point I’ve tried so many online things and they all turned out to be a scam so no I don’t have any other side, hustle or form of income besides my Social Security at the moment.

There are always complications with my arm and severe pain every minute of every day also my leg hurts tremendously, cause they took veins from my leg and skin to put in my arm. They threatened me almost every month on my appointments that I should have the arm amputated, but I refuse it was paralyzed for almost a year and a half thank the Lord. I regained some use of it so I refused to have an amputated At the time, I owned my own business, a daycare center. So, of course, my doors closed about a month after my accident. So, I lost my form of income. I applied to Social Security and was approved, but for only $900 a month. At the time, my husband was working, and we managed, but about 2 years ago, my husband was in an accident. He worked construction and couldn’t do it anymore. So, currently, we only have my income, which doesn’t even pay the rent.

We did managed to put three children through college. One of my girls has a great job in her field, history but the other can’t get a job in her field and works fast food. My son is in mechanics school and also has a great job. But my medical bills keep are adding up. Thank God that the hospitals are working with us on payment plans.

We also have a great dog Jesse he’s a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and he’s my service dog. He’s the only thing that keeps me going and I can’t even pay for his vet bills. Thank god my daughter did that but I can’t keep asking her.

Our children have been helping out as much as they can, but it’s still not enough for rent, groceries, and other bills. I was hoping if someone could even help with $5, it would go to great use and get us caught up on our rent. We are currently 2 months behind. I know it’s a lot to ask, but we would be so grateful, you have no idea. We plan on getting ahead and paying it forward one day. Thank you in advance for reading this, and God bless you.
