Aid for Nico's Unexpected Health Journey

We’re reaching out to ask for your support for the Alexakos family. Their sweet son, Nico, recently faced an unexpected and challenging medical journey. What started as a scary bout with RSV led to a rare diagnosis of Miller-Fisher Syndrome, requiring a week-long hospital stay. Nico was not able to walk unassisted and required intensive (and expensive) treatment in order to aid in his recovery.

Thankfully, Nico has since made a full recovery, but the financial impact of the diagnosis, treatment and hospital stay on the household has been significant. Not only that, but Sarah also had to miss several days of work without PTO to help care for Nico, impacting their overall income.
