Happy Holidays! As some of you may know, there was a two alarm fire at the apartment complex next to mine on the night of Thursday, December 19, 2024. All of the residents have been displaced and a significant amount of their possessions have been irreparably damaged. I have set up this GoFundMe with the permission of those affected to raise funds to help with relocation and replacement. Some of the tenants are not working due to age or disability. Any contribution that you can make would be greatly appreciated.

Baltimore City firefighters responded to a four-story apartment building fire in downtown Baltimore late Thursday night.
Units were called around 11:18 p.m. to the 100 block of West Saratoga Street, where they found heavy smoke and fire in the rear of the building, Baltimore City Fire Department spokesman John Marsh said.
A second alarm was called the incident a few minutes later, he said, before it was quickly contained.
All residents of the building, which has about six apartments, Marsh said, were evacuated and are being assisted by the Red Cross. No injuries of residents or firefighters were reported.
The fire was believed to have originated in the back of the building, the spokesman said. An investigation is ongoing.
An apartment fire earlier this week on the 900 block of Calvert Street in the nearby Mount Vernon neighborhood left one dead.
