Hi! My name is Mystique, and my father has been sick for a long time. He was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension when I was 12 years old. In addition he is currently going through liver failure and we believe he is close to the end. My gramps is in his 80’s, is a Vietnam vet, and has dementia and Parkinson’s, and is also nearing the end. My mom takes care of both of them, and is in need of a hip replacement, making it difficult to work and she doesn’t qualify for disability. When they go, my mom will be left to pay for the funerals, continue to pay the mortgage on a house that is falling apart, the car payment, all while grieving. If you know me you know that my father and I do not get along, but I need some way to help my Mom. I work in special education and do not make enough to help support her and myself, so I am hoping that by fundraising I can help make this process easier.
